The Management of Special Program of Implementation Research UGM held an Open House with the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in the Southeast Asian Regions on Friday, March 19, 2022. This meeting aims to spread information about scholarship opportunities for the academic year 2022/2023 which are open until the end of April.
The Open House was done virtually and attended by the representative of the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in New Delhi (India), the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Phnom Penh (Kamboja), the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Dili (Timor Leste), the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Wellington (New Zealand), the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Colombo (Srilanka), the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Vientiane (Laos), Education & Culture Attache Bangkok, the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Dhaka
The meeting was opened by Dr. Yodi Mahendradhata, M.Sc., Ph.D., FRSPH (Vice Dean for Collaboration, Alumni, and Community Service – Board of Special Program of Implementation Research) he explained the information of Special Program of Implementation Research. Furthermore, the information about the scholarship explained by dr. Elsa Herdiana Murhandarwati, M.Kes, Ph.D. (the Chief for Special Program of Implementation Research). After the explanation, the meeting continued with a discussion session conducted by Prof. dr. Ari Natalia Probandari, MPH., Ph. D. By the discussion, all participants were able to disseminate the scholarship information
The Open House is one of the strategies to familiarize the program to potential applicants and disseminate the scholarship information, especially to the low-middle country. By this event, the management hopes that will be more diverse applicants than the previous year.
