Kongres Nasional IAKMI XXII is an annual national conference for the Indonesian Public Health Association which held in Makasar on November 3-5, 2016. It has several workshops pre-conference to update knowledge and skills of the participants. One of them is Workshop on Implementation Research in Health Policy organized by Center for Policy and Health Management, UGM, November 2 2016.
First panel discussion talked about IR on JKN (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional) and the second discussed on IR proposal. One of the presenters in the second panel discussion was from our first Batch student, Tyrone Reden Sy. He presented successfully his research proposal with title “Assessing the Feasilbility and Appropriateness of Community-based TB/HIV Counseling and Testing in the Philippines: an Implementation Research. An interesting fact that he revealed was a high number of TB and TB/HIV cases in Philippines. His presentation can be downloaded here.
